Yertle the Turtle Maths

We listened to the story of Yertle the Turtle by Dr Suess, Yertle is a very bossy turtle who wanted to be king of the pond so he piles up everyone into a turtle stack, we used this idea to make our own turtle stack and then find the right number for the turtles on the stack as we are learning about numbers to 20

We made our own turtle stacks with bottle tops too!
