Room on the Broom

Today we read Julia Donaldson's tale of a witch and friends called 'Room on the Broom.  We tapped our knees like she did her broomstick, made howling wind noises and cackled like the witch.  We talked about what colour dragon we would like to have as a pet.  The children also enjoyed pretending to stir up a potion in the cauldron "Iggety, ziggety, zaggerty ZOOM!!"
